PIK study is the first to make detailed predictions for individual regions in Germany

The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) has published a new study on climate change until 2060 for the Deutsche Bahn. The results: There will be significantly more heat days and less severe winters in Germany. In addition, weather extremes such as heavy rains and hail are to be expected. This is the second PIK study for the Deutsche Bahn and is the first to include detailed predictions with regards to individual regions in Germany.
